Hi, my name is Daniel Wilding and I am a professional Golf club maker and custom fitter. I have attained the Qualification of Master Craftsman and I am also a member of the GCA (Golf Club makers Association). I am an Authorised Dealer and Stockist of Snake Eyes, Macgregor, Bettinardi, Golfsmith, Maltby and Tom Wishon Golf equipment.
I will be based at Chorley Driving Range located in Astley Village Chorley, where I will have a workshop and will be conducting fitting sessions of all different areas including Driver, woods, hybrids, irons, wedges and putter. I will be working directly along side PGA professional Richard Layton who is an excellent teacher with years of experience and his reputation stands before him. We will be working together doing a combination of lessons and fitting sessions and working towards a combined session of swing mechanics and club fitting session for those who are interested.
I will be conducting my sessions differently to most other custom fitting centres, instead of only offering an hour for your fitting session I will be offering you as much time as is needed. The length of the sessions will obviously differ with how many clubs the customer is looking to be fitted for, but the session will not finish until you are happy with the results and the clubs you have been fitted for.
If you are just looking to have a club repaired, re-gripped etc don’t hesitate to contact me, I offer a full range of golf club repairs including re-gripping, re-shafting, loft and lie adjustment, and head refurbishment (persimmon and metal headed woods). I will also be offering a ‘customise your own club’ service, if you want to customise your favourite putter or wedge with a funky paint job you can.
